Hill International bags DIFC contract for realty project in Dubai
Hill International bags contract by Dubai International Financial Centre Authority to give project management services for The Lighthouse real estate project in Dubai. The three-year contract has an estimated value of approximately $2.7 million (Dh9.8m).
"The Lighthouse is unlike any other skyscraper in the world," said Raouf S Ghali, President of Hill's Project Management Group.
The real estate project in Dubai will be built at a cost of Dh1 billion. Construction is expected to begin in November with completion set for 2011. The Lighthouse has been designed as a low-carbon realty unit and aims to reduce energy consumption by up to 65 per cent and water consumption by up to 35 per cent compared to the current Dubai standard design.
