$164 million worth road project in Dubai to be completed by year end
A $164 million road scheme in Dubai, designed to help cope with the extra traffic generated by projects such as the new Dubai Mall and Burj Dubai, is due to be completed by the end of this year.
The Financial Center Road Project involves building of a flyover across Doha Road in Dubai, consisting of 3 lanes in the direction of Jumeirah and 5 lanes in the opposite direction. It is envisaged that the project will carry more than 16,000 vehicles per hour in both directions.
It includes an elevated interchange enabling traffic flow in and out of the New Ras Al Khor hub while 2 underpasses have been added to improve traffic flow on the eastern and western parallel roads at the intersection with Doha Road.
