Tamweel to offer finance for DWC freehold property
Dubai World Central and Tamweel Real Estate Group have signed an agreement to offer financing solutions to those interested in buying freehold property in the project around the new Al Maktoum International Airport.
Khaled bin Hareb, Executive Director for real estate at the Dubai World Central project, said: "The agreement will authorise Tamweel to launch financing programmes for the project and it will start with the residential areas.
"This long-term project is Dubai's main objective until the year 2050, and the various partnerships among both private and government players will provide the best landscape for the travel, tourism, trade and logistic services sectors," said Khaled.
Abdullah Nasser Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive of Tamweel, said: "The agreement is a milestone for us in one of the major real estate projects in the UAE.
"The Dubai World Central project is one of the key foundations for the future of Dubai.
"Tamweel has consistently provided innovative financing options since the launch of its operations back in 2004, with financing contracts worth Dh11 billion."
