Foreign investment reaches Dh1.114 billion on Dubai Financial Market
Dubai Financial Market has announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors or non-UAE nationals during the week, i.e., August 24-28, 2008 has reached Dh1.114 billion comprising 31.74% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh1.663 billion comprising 47.38% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dh549 million during the same period, as aggregate sell.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dh988.65 million comprising 28.16% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh1.276 billion which constitutes 36.35% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh287.53 million during the period, as aggregate sell. |
