Shah Rukh Khan to enter UAE real estate
Shah Rukh Khan, Indian film industry's uncrowned king, now wants to be a real estate developer. The Bollywood superstar has begun conceptualizing some properties in the UAE , a UAE-based website reported. The popular Indian film actor will begin with Shah Rukh Khan Boulevard to be located on the island of Al Dana in Ras Al Khaimah.
"Our inquiries have revealed that the superstar will be in Dubai to announce the project at the real estate expo City Scape (in Dubai), to be held from Oct 6 to 9," the report said.
Shah Rukh Khan had teamed up with UAE's leading property developer Nakheel by purchasing a house on the posh Palm Jumeirah, man-made island off the coast of Dubai. Property in Ras Al Khaimah will comprise of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments being designed by well-known architect Toni Ashai and Shah Rukh has associated himself with the development via TSA International Investments, a leading real estate financial consultancy in the UAE.
