Global Village to host world’s first Guinness World Records pavilion
Global Village, a member of Tatweer Dubai and the premier culture and entertainment destination for families, has announced it will host time the Guinness World Records Pavilion for the first. A world first, the pavilion will provide visitors to the Global Village exciting opportunities to participate and set new Guinness World Records in a variety of categories during each of the 102 days of the seasonal event.
Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha, Project Director, Global Village, said, "We are proud to welcome the Guinness World Records Pavilion to Dubai for the first time ever. The pavilion will serve as the only such platform in the world where people can enter and attempt to break a world record, based on activities and contests.
Amongst other crowd pulling activities, the Guinness World Records Pavilion will feature the loudest scream, shout, clap and whistle. It will also organize daily competitions to judge the fastest time in sending a text message and the fastest typist on a computer keyboard utilizing the nose. In all, participants will be able to set records in 14 different categories of activities.
