UAE Minister of Economy to strengthen bilateral relations with Austria
HE Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, the UAE Minister of Economy, and HE Christian Bokhman, the Austrian Minister of Economy and Finance, has discussed steps to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. The discussions focused on measures to boost various business sectors, trade and bilateral investments.
The global financial crisis was a part of the discussions and the UAE initiatives in tackling the impact of this crisis were highlighted during the meeting. They also discussed food security issues and the possibilities of importing basic food items from Austria.
Al Mansouri invited the Austrian counterpart to enhance flight frequency between the two countries, in order to strengthen cooperation in the fields of investments and various economic sectors.
