Auction site open for residents and property owners of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
Island Global Yachting (IGY), the luxury marina developer and management company, has opened its dedicated online auction for residents and owners of property in Palm Jumeirah offering the opportunity to enter into a berthing agreement at Anchor Marina. Anchor Marina will be officially launched as Palm Jumeirah's first operational marina in the coming months. Owners and residents will be limited to one berth per property and berthing agreements will be for the length of 5 years.
Michael Horrigan, CEO - Middle East and Europe, IGY, said, "We have already received an outstanding response to the online auction. We decided to launch via the online platform to simplify the process of bidding on and entering into a berthing agreement.
The online auction site, http://www.igyauctions.com/ was opened on October 15, 2008 for pre-qualifying registrations. the auction site went live on November 1, 2008 and the auction will be live for 7 days before closing at 18:00 on November 7. The berths available for auction will be located on both the East and West side of Anchor Marina for yachts between 10-16m in length inclusively.
