Dubai developer Pearl Dubai to Sponsor ‘Cinema Against AIDS DUBAI 2008’
Developers of the Dh15 billion mixed-use property, Dubai Pearl real estate project, is sponsoring amfAR's (The Foundation for AIDS Research) ‘Cinema Against AIDS Dubai 2008' gala dinner to be held on 12 December 2008 at Atlantis-The Palm in Dubai.
Abdul Majeed Ismail Al Fahim, Chairman of Dubai Pearl said: "In supporting the ‘Cinema Against AIDS' Dubai event for the second consecutive year, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting AIDS research. We are in a unique position today, both socially and economically, where the UAE can make a significant impact in contributing to the well-being of people worldwide."
Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein is the honorary chair of the gala event, to be held as part of the Dubai International Film Festival 2008 (DIFF). Present at the high-profile fundraising dinner will be the event's chairs Abdul Majeed Ismail Al Fahim, Chairman of Pearl Dubai, Hollywood stars Salma Hayek, Goldie Hawn, and Laura Linney.
