Dubai Marina rules as online buyer’s ideal location
Renters and buyers in Dubai prefer Dubai Marina as their choicest location, reveals a study. People searching for place to live in the website counted for 17.5 percent seeking the development. Dubai Marina was followed by Jumeirah Lake Towers (16.1 percent), Palm Jumeirah (13.1 percent), Jumeirah Beach Residence (7.3 percent) and Arabian Ranches (6.8 percent). Dubai Marina from developers Emaar Properties has topped the rankings in third quarter in a row.
As per the reports Downtown Dubai is also gaining popularity and has jumped five places. Dubai Silicon Oasis owing to its declining price was also finding prominence. Both these areas attracted 4.7 percent and 2.2 percent of searches respectively.
Price wise, 15 percent of those searching the listings were seeking property in the price range of AED1,500,000 ($408,374) while 11.9 percent were looking for ones worth AED2,500,000 ($680,624).
In the aspect of property size, 13.1 percent were seeking two bedrooms or more while 55 percent of the users preferred apartment living over villas or townhouses.
Dubai Marina once again found preference in the rental sector with a choice range of 16.7 percent. Discovery Gardens and International City dipped in the rankings further to account only 4.2 percent and 3.4 percent of interest. Jumeirah Lake Towers (9.9 percent), Palm Jumeirah (6.7 percent), Mirdif (5.9 percent) and Jumeirah (5.9 percent) were the other choice.
In the rent category, fifteen percent were willing to pay up to AED50,000 ($13,612) per annum, with 11.9 percent preferring property with two bedrooms or more. A massive 38.5 percent of searches were for apartments again.
